School Liturgy - Mass Participation

The school students in grades K-8 attend weekly mass on Wednesday mornings at 8:30 AM, and on First Fridays. Many of our school families also attend the 10:30 AM Sunday Family Mass at St. Linus Church. We join the St. Linus parish community in worship, and involve the students in the mass as much as possible. Both the weekly school masses and the Sunday Family Masses are led by our students as they participate as readers, choir members, altar servers, gift-bearers, and ushers. Each grade also leads one school mass and one Sunday Family Mass during the year, as a different grade leads masses each month and also coordinates the school monthly service project. St. Linus School strongly encourages all families to fully participate in the Catholic sacramental life and promote faith formation for our students, especially through regular mass attendance.
